About the Job

Requirements

  • A Bachiller or professional degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical-Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least seven years of experience in maintenance, operations, reliability, or engineering for rotating equipment in the LNG, oil and gas, energy, refining, or petrochemical industries.
  • Strong experience inspecting, condition-monitoring, performance-analyzing, and diagnosing failures in rotating equipment, including field evaluations and operational testing.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control for maintenance activities on critical equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs, datasheets, performance curves, original equipment manufacturer manuals, and engineering specifications.
  • Experience applying industrial safety systems, work permits, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office, and industrial condition-monitoring systems such as PI System, System 1, or equivalents.
  • Intermediate-high English proficiency for technical interaction and coordination with international specialists, manufacturers, and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain maintenance strategies for rotating equipment using reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
  • Manage inventory levels for critical materials and spare parts, defining minimum and maximum parameters to ensure asset operational continuity.
  • Prepare inspection and test plans for maintenance activities on critical equipment.
  • Verify in the field that inspection and test plans and applicable quality standards are followed during maintenance work.
  • Manage deviations identified during inspections and maintenance activities, promoting corrective actions and continuous improvement.
