Requirements
  • Emerging authority typically with an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience or equivalent
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP
  • IAT Level II Certification; must achieve within 30 days of hire date
  • Experience administering Active Directory technologies in an enterprise level system
  • Deployment and maintenance of all active directory domain services/controllers, including monitoring health and status of all sites and services in the enterprise
  • Deployment and maintenance of all certificate authority (CA) services, including issuing all SSL certificates and building out new CA servers in the enterprise, including tracking all CA server expiration dates and renewal processes for existing CA certificates
  • Creating and maintenance of system policies such as Windows group policies, Linux authentication PAM rules/files (in concert with Linux/unix team), and tracking potential issues on the system
  • Maintenance of all account matrices, including all applicable permissions cross overs between enclaves when/if needed
  • Continuously working with cyber team to ensure all controls are compliant with current policies for restriction access between enclaves and systems in enterprise for each applicable user/team
  • Assist cyber team with monitoring all directory services for out of the ordinary logins or accounts behavior metrics to ensure safety of data integrity of system enterprise
  • Work with other teams to deployment and maintain technologies that include collaborative aspects, such as instant message platforms in enterprise
  • Work with all team to ensure proper distributed authentication services are configured properly to ensure non-repudiation to all available sources, examples include LDAP/LDAPS connected endpoints like HPE iLO interfaces, Gitlab, Cisco ISE, FortiManager, Raritan KVM
  • Thorough understanding of Active Directory and its replication structure in distributed forest separated by WAN links
  • Experience with on-premise multi-domain environment using Role Based Administrative Controls (RBAC) for least privilege
  • Experience with DISA STIG compliance remediation using distributed group policy and SCAP compliance scanners
  • Ability to integrate automation technologies into daily Active Directory use is a plus
Responsibilities

  • Track impact of events/actions on underlying infrastructure such as replication schedules and group policies
  • Create and maintain system policies including Windows group policies and Linux PAM rules/files
  • Maintain account matrices including cross-enclave permissions
  • Work with cyber team to ensure policies and controls are compliant for restriction access between enclaves and systems
  • Assist cyber team with monitoring directory services for unusual logins or account behavior
  • Work with teams to deploy and maintain technologies with collaborative aspects such as instant message platforms in enterprise
  • Ensure distributed authentication services are configured to provide non-repudiation across sources, including LDAP/LDAPS configurations with endpoints like HPE iLO, Gitlab, Cisco ISE, FortiManager, Raritan KVM
  • Understand Active Directory replication across forests and WAN links
  • Operate in a on-premise multi-domain environment with RBAC for least privilege

Alaska Native corporation CIRI acquires IT firm I2X Technologies to expand $1B+ portfolio

Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), an Alaska Native regional corporation, has acquired I2X Technologies, a provider of IT software, systems engineering and data management solutions to government and private-sector clients. Financial terms were not disclosed. I2X, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Littleton, Colorado, employs nearly 280 staff. The company will operate under OSC Global, CIRI's wholly owned IT and cybersecurity subsidiary formed in 2024. The acquisition expands CIRI's diverse business portfolio, which currently exceeds $1 billion in assets. CIRI, created under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act in 1972, has nearly 10,000 shareholders. CEO Swami Iyer said the purchase strengthens the company's portfolio and positions it for long-term growth.
