Requirements
- At least 3 years of automotive parts manager experience.
- Strong understanding of original equipment manufacturer parts systems.
- Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and drive department profitability.
- Ability to communicate effectively, provide customer service, and build teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the parts department, including retail, wholesale, and internal parts sales.
- Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, returns, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure accurate parts pricing, invoicing, and profitability tracking.
- Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to support efficient repair order flow.
- Maintain compliance with original equipment manufacturer standards, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Train, mentor, and supervise parts counter staff and drivers.
- Monitor department key performance indicators, including fill rate, gross profit, and inventory turns.
- Implement processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Highline brand experience is strongly preferred.
