Hike Medical makes custom insoles for workers in physically demanding jobs, manufactured in the United States. The insoles are created using AI-assisted design and 3D printing with hand finishing, tailored to alleviate foot, knee, and back pain. They primarily sell to employers (B2B), positioning insoles as a first-line defense to reduce MSK-related healthcare costs and boost productivity. Their goal is to lower healthcare expenses for businesses while improving workforce well-being and performance.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Hike launched SoleForge on April 1, 2026, increasing production capacity.
  • Intel's 2026 benefit offers subsidized pairs, proving enterprise willingness to pay.
  • OSF's 25,000-plus Mission Partners create a large installed base for replacements and upsells.

What critics are saying

  • Hike's claims depend on employer renewals; losing Intel or OSF would crush distribution.
  • A $29M raised-to-date profile suggests capital intensity; factory scaling can burn cash fast.
  • Clinical-claim scrutiny can force costly rework if outcomes or testimonials disappoint employers.

What makes Hike Medical unique

  • Hike Medical combines phone scanning, AI fitting, and Illinois 3D printing for insoles.
  • Intel and OSF HealthCare distribution gives Hike credible employer-channel validation by 2026.
  • SoleForge manufacturing in Peoria shortens lead times and keeps production domestically controlled.
