Requirements
  • At least 5 years of related work experience in indirect tax process improvement or equivalent business or industry experience.
  • Experience with indirect tax, including sales and use tax or value-added tax, and/or corporate indirect tax compliance.
  • Experience or exposure to tax process and operational assessments.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and aptitude for continuously developing product and technical skills, including skills relevant to application programming interface-first products.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across organizational levels, including customer champions and C-suite executives.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think innovatively and execute with quality and speed.
  • Interest in a fast-paced scale-up environment and motivation to contribute to growth.
  • Adaptability when facing new situations or ambiguity.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex issues.
Responsibilities
  • Recommend adoption and usage strategies throughout implementation and adoption phases to optimize customer engagement with Fonoa’s indirect tax solutions.
  • Generate case studies and cultivate referenceable customers to foster customer advocates and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow customer accounts.
  • Oversee the customer portfolio from onboarding through renewal, aiming for high net promoter score and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor account health to ensure successful outcomes at every stage.
  • Build relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors to encourage program advocacy and adoption.
  • Align with customer needs and priorities to facilitate successful deployment of Fonoa’s tax solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the Fonoa Product Team by conveying product and development requests and insights.
