Requirements
  • Knowledge of the collision industry, including high-level knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements for a variety of carriers.
  • Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software, including CCC ONE Total Repair Software.
  • Proficient with computers and other technology.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed location revenue goals and other key performance indicators by managing the front and back of the shop from vehicle intake through delivery to maintain shop throughput, production quality, and efficiency.
  • Assign repair jobs to Body Technicians and prioritize vehicles for teardown or paint.
  • Support teammates during peak times by receiving customers, checking in vehicles, and writing estimates as needed.
  • Ensure repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards, repairs are billed accurately, and back-of-shop personal protective equipment protocol is upheld for teammate safety.
  • Complete shop payroll and staffing on time, ensure production staff follows punch-in/out guidelines and flag-hour procedures for weekly payroll processing, and manage staff paid time off, vacation, or leave.
  • Communicate with Body Technicians, Collision Estimators, and Parts Managers to manage daily production flow and meet delivery requirements.
  • Write complete direct repair program complaint estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery, update Collision Estimator estimates as needed, and lock final estimates.
  • Understand teammate position requirements, interview and hire candidates based on skills and experience, and provide individual teammate performance coaching, feedback, and support for growth and progression opportunities.

Crash Champions opens repair center in Spring Hill, Florida. Crash Champions has opened a collision repair facility at 1118 Suzanne Dr. in Spring Hill, Fla., its first location in the community. The I-CAR Gold Class shop began operating Sept. 21.
