Requirements
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience, or a master's degree with 8+ years of experience, is required.
  • Proven experience as a recognized authority in quality assurance for enterprise-scale software is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing automated test scripts and test control databases is required.
  • Extensive experience in release management and overseeing IT infrastructure baselines is required.
  • The ability to solve unusually complex technical problems with highly innovative solutions is required.
  • A strong background in documenting technical reports and process workflows is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Independently develop and execute sophisticated test scripts to certify system changes for production.
  • Produce expert-level test plan documents and comprehensive requirement specifications.
  • Develop and maintain test control databases, ensuring their integrity, currency, and security.
  • Perform complex solution testing to validate that all products meet strict business and mission requirements.
  • Distribute high-quality test data from control databases to development staff to facilitate robust unit testing.
  • Develop, compile, document, and run automated test scripts and procedures to increase testing efficiency.
  • Lead regression testing efforts and manage end-to-end tracking of defect status.
  • Provide overarching quality assurance testing for all systems.
  • Manage the release management process for all changes to the baseline IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure processes are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle, documenting and updating workflows as needed.
  • Communicate formally with analysts and programmers regarding testing plans, identified problems, and results.
  • Identify and produce lists of defects for resolution in future application releases.
  • Drive process improvements and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or LangChain-based testing for AI.
  • Proficiency in managing defect tracking and workflows using Jira.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices.
  • Familiarity with testing data-heavy applications involving Spark or Databricks.
  • Previous experience working within a government contracting or federal environment.
  • Certifications in quality assurance, such as ISTQB, or release management, such as ITIL.
