Requirements
  • College degree or directly related year for year experience
  • 3 years work experience in customer service, sales, retail, or publishing
  • 1 year experience in account or identity verification, cybersecurity, risk analysis, risk management, KYC/AML, or fraud analysis
Responsibilities
  • Manages 3rd party vendor relationships and implements Catalog integrations
  • Leads account verification and quality via fraud mitigation and use of 3rd party fraud prevention applications and tools
  • Works with Web Team, sales and client services to ensure quick and accurate processing of accounts and titles
  • Maintains the account workbenches as a part of the team’s daily activities
  • Communicates directly with clients to validate account or title information, when needed.
  • Leads all 3rd party communications, support requests and systems maintenance and improvements.
  • Serves as the Lead internal IT liaison for LS and IngramSpark websites, and all security-related and automated processing tools
  • Manages projects related to account security and account verification.
  • Evaluates and recommends enhancements for fraud-prevention methods currently in place. Working alongside Integrity Manager, executes audits and gathers data for KPI reporting as-needed basis
  • Communicates internally and externally on matters related to account integrity
  • Maintains productive and positive relationships with internal departments to include Client Services, IT, Sales, Accounting, Credit, Pre-Media, Digital, etc…
  • Provides training to other internal associates or 3rd party vendors on reporting processes
  • Work closely with other catalog integrity team members and supervisor on key projects related to improving speed of processing and enforcing of rule sets
  • Recommends solutions for routine process inefficiencies identified by management.
  • Develops KPIs and owns reporting within leadership cycle
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to learn Oracle other LS specific systems.
  • Experience with Excel.

Cashmere raises $5M to connect premium publishers with generative AI

Cashmere, a data infrastructure platform connecting premium publishers with AI systems, has raised $5 million in seed funding led by Reach Capital. The round included participation from Founders Future, Fortitude Ventures, Lightshed Ventures and strategic investors Ingram Content Group, Naver Corp and Pearson Publishing. Founded to bridge the gap between premium content and generative AI, Cashmere provides infrastructure for publishers to license and deliver authoritative data to AI models. The company already works with publishers including John Wiley & Sons and Harvard Business Publishing, alongside AI companies like Perplexity. The funding follows a pre-seed round in May 2025 backed by the Perplexity Fund and F7 Ventures. Cashmere will use the investment to accelerate product development and expand within academic, professional and market intelligence publishing sectors.
