Requirements
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Ability to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Ability to inspect vehicles and maintain service, scheduling, repair, and maintenance records.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for wear and report findings to customers and/or the Operations Manager.
  • Ability to determine parts needed for repairs and the timeliness of those needs.
  • Ability to record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data and return unused resources.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary and travel regularly, including some overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Document each job, including time, progress, and duration, and maintain files; submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Keep current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
