Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Two to seven years of experience in portfolio management, financial advisory, trading, and/or investment consulting roles is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, Macrobond, and Advent is required.
  • Experience with trading applications including Advent Moxy, Advent Genesis, Security APL, and Eze OMS is required.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and prioritize projects is required.
Responsibilities
  • Create daily and periodic account- and strategy-wide trade activities, including rebalancing, new client implementations, and cash flows.
  • Assist with analysis and investment due diligence on existing and prospective investments, including presenting recommendations to the Multi-Asset Strategy team.
  • Execute model changes for multiple trading strategies on the firm's trading and portfolio management systems, including Security APL, Advent APX, Moxy, Genesis, Morningstar Direct, and proprietary SQL databases.
  • Review orders and trading activity with portfolio managers and assist with evaluating the impact of trades on client accounts and investment strategies.
  • Analyze investment performance and risks across multiple asset classes while conducting proprietary research on asset allocation strategies and portfolio construction techniques.
  • Analyze and support execution of risk management and asset allocation strategies for multi-asset portfolios.
  • Assist client portfolio managers with monitoring portfolios for compliance with firm policy and client-provided investment restrictions.
  • Enhance organizational initiatives that ensure data integrity and improve portfolio management and trading-process efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is ideal.
  • Experience with SQL, Microsoft Access, or other databases is a plus.
