Responsibilities
  • Perform chart review and pre-screening activities to assess study participant eligibility and coordinate simple clinical research protocols; maintain enrollment procedures according to the protocol.
  • Coordinate routine clinical study activities, including data collection and maintenance, planning study timelines, scheduling appointments and study visits, arranging meetings, and evaluating projects.
  • Perform moderate to complex research tests and experiments and adapt procedures for quality improvement under supervision.
  • Follow technical instructions for operating clinical research equipment and troubleshoot operational failures.
  • Assist in observing and informing the principal investigator or supervisor of adverse events, including those reported by study participants.
  • Address adverse events according to protocol, advocating for study participants and quality standards throughout the study lifecycle.
  • Identify, report, and help resolve protocol deviations and unanticipated occurrences.
  • Know the contents of and maintain study-specific clinical research regulatory binders.
