Technical Customer Success Manager
About the job
- At least 5 years of experience in construction project management in a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project Engineer role.
- In-depth knowledge of critical path method scheduling and construction workflows.
- Hands-on experience with critical path method scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Ability to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
- Experience managing customer pilots and proof-of-concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide clear, actionable solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas simply in writing and verbally.
- Ability to build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating across teams.
- Ability to travel up to 30%. Ideally, candidates are located near a major airport.
- Lead hands-on customer onboarding sessions to help customers get started successfully with Planera.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive engagement and long-term retention.
- Provide guidance on construction scheduling best practices, particularly for users transitioning from Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Support and manage customer pilots and proof-of-concepts, helping organizations evaluate Planera’s value.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to drive expansion.
- Represent the customer by relaying insights and feature requests to product and engineering teams.
- Assist customers with technical issues and work with product and engineering teams to resolve challenges.
- Analyze customer usage and engagement data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledge and experience with data center construction.
