About the company

Fednot coordinates and supports a network of Belgian notaries who help people at key life moments. The organization provides independent, tailored legal advice through its 1,150 offices, which include 1,550 notaries and about 8,000 staff who together process roughly 900,000 acts per year. Fednot’s services include legal guidance, management support, information technology solutions, training, and public information to help offices operate smoothly and to inform the public. The main difference from competitors is its large, nationwide network and the centralized support it offers to offices, enabling independent notaries to give reliable advice and manage complex transactions. The goal is to help clients undertake major life plans—such as cohabitation, buying a home, starting a business, or planning an inheritance—confidently by providing trusted, practical support to notaries and making legal information accessible to the public.
