Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • ASA or higher actuarial credentials
  • 3+ years of experience in actuarial work (valuation, forecasting, capital management)
  • 3+ years of experience with actuarial regulatory frameworks (US Statutory, US GAAP, Bermuda)
  • Experience with software engineering or constructing/evaluating actuarial models
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and eagerness to partner with stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Support the build and re-design of a forecast process:
  • • Reduce reliance on manual interventions and cross-team dependencies
  • • Enable ad-hoc forecasting capability to any customer/consumer
  • • Enhance forecast reporting to enable capital planning decisions
  • • Ensure solutions meet model governance standards and best practices
  • Implement solutions in an end-to-end architecture (Eureka! platform):
  • • Design and develop data transformation processes, workflow automation, post-model calculations, and results analysis tools using Python code
  • • Evaluate and recommend actuarial methodology, simplifications, and approximations
  • • Develop within a CI/CD framework to ensure scalability and future changes
  • • Coordinate frequent releases to enable value delivery
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to implement scalable architecture:
  • • Test end-to-end capabilities to ensure coverage internal reporting needs, including sensitivity and attribution runs
  • • Extend the platform to cover new use-cases and capabilities
  • • Identify business needs, propose solutions, and define execution plans
  • • Solutions are transparently documented
