  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • 3+ years of related experience in Human Resources as administrative support
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of human resources practices, state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), and customer service skills
Responsibilities
  • Document and respond to incoming HR queries within identified SLAs via Service Now, emails, walk-ins, or calls
  • Perform transactions in various HR systems: Workday, Jobvite, and local HR/timekeeping systems
  • Initiate onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee documentation as required
  • Educate employees and managers on available services and self-service tools
  • Review change of personal information requests and approve in systems
  • Ensure local policy, benefits, and HR information is up to date on employee portal/HR website
  • Collaborate with team members to execute tasks and fulfill key deliverables
  • Respond to benefit change requests in the benefit portal
  • Provide union administrative support and update system information to align with union agreements
  • Handle payroll adjustments and timesheet corrections in HR systems
  • Assist with union-related functions at the facility
  • Conduct on-site orientation for union new hires
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits plans
  • Maintain system electronically and create & maintain required documentation
  • Process requests for payments/awards for benefit programs
  • Handle special projects/assignments as needed
