Shivers Farm developer partners with investment firm for mixed-use development. Published September 3, 2026 at 1:44 p.m. CT Fort Worth-based developer Trademark Property Company and Chicago-based Harrison Street Asset Management have announced a partnership for Shivers Farm. Both companies will make a joint investment in the 40-acre mixed-use development, which will be anchored by a Whole Foods, according to a news release. "Shivers Farm represents an attractive opportunity to invest alongside an experienced partner in a high-quality, grocery-anchored mixed-use development," said Nathan Rogatz, director at Harrison Street Asset Management, in the news release. "We are pleased to expand our relationship with Trademark and support the development of a high-quality mixed-use community that is expected to bring new retail, dining and gathering spaces to Southlake." The overview Construction on Shivers Farm could begin in September, per the news release. Leases have already been executed for 40,199 square feet of the retail space, and Trademark is negotiating leases for a further 65,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space. The company is also finalizing the design for a three-story Class A boutique office building, which is included with the project, per the news release. Additionally, Shivers Farm will include 37 single-family residences and a potential hotel. Trademark and Harrison Street previously partnered for the Anthem mixed-use development in Arlington, according to the news release. The Whole Foods-anchored Development Will Bring a Major New Dining and Retail Destination to Southlake September 2, 2026 4:33 PM Construction on Shivers Farm, a 40-acre mixed-use project anchored by Whole Foods Market, is expected to begin this month, with a groundbreaking ceremony planned in the coming weeks. Located north of SH 114 near White Chapel Blvd, the development is expected to include 111,000 square feet of retail, 38,000 square feet of Class A boutique office space, 37 single-family lots and a 3-acre pad approved for hotel, entertainment, or additional retail uses. Whole Foods Market will serve as the grocery anchor, marking the brand's first Southlake location and the first major grocery destination north of SH 114. The plans also call for a nearly one-acre park built around existing heritage live oak trees, with restaurants and outdoor seating surrounding the space. Public art and additional gathering areas are also planned throughout the property. Trademark Property Company, which is developing Shivers Farm with Harrison Street Asset Management, says three leases totaling more than 40,000 square feet have already been signed, with additional retailers and restaurants in active negotiations. "Shivers Farm is a significant opportunity that reflects both the history and future of Southlake," said Blake Bickmore, vice president of development at Trademark Property Company. Trademark will also manage and lease the 116,000-square-foot neighborhood shopping center and lead a plan to upgrade the property and its tenancy. The acquisition comes on the heels of the substantial completion of the TXDOT's $674 million Oak Hill Parkway Project, which will greatly improve regional mobility and access to the property. Following a five-year-long construction process, all the main lanes, frontage roads, and ramps of Oak Hill Parkway are now open. Work will continue throughout the fall, including 14 miles of shared bicycle and pedestrian paths and 1.5 miles of new sidewalks along the corridor. Oak Hill Plaza's tenant roster includes Wells Fargo, Pluckers, Dollar Tree, AutoZone, Jim's Restaurant, and The Picklr. Trademark plans to upgrade the property, creating a more inviting and modern destination. The improvements will support an enhanced tenant mix featuring local and regional retailers and restaurants that capture the authentic spirit of Austin. Trademark Property Company assumes management of Atlantic Station. Monday, August 10th, 2026 Trademark Property Company (Trademark), a mixed-use investor, developer, and operator, has been engaged by Atlantic Station ownership to assume management, leasing, and operations of the 138-acre mixed-use retail district, effective Aug. 1. Trademark has spent more than 30 years developing and operating top-tier mixed-use communities across the country, including Market Street-The Woodlands, Annapolis Town Center, and Galleria Dallas, and will apply its proven approach to Atlantic Station. "Our first step is listening and understanding the community," said Terry Montesi, founder and CEO of Trademark. "We will thoroughly evaluate the property's strengths and opportunities to bring this iconic destination to the next level." Trademark has hired a seasoned general manager, Sean McIntosh, to oversee management and operations of the property's 585,590-square-foot retail footprint. McIntosh brings more than 30 years of experience managing top retail assets, having spent a decade at GGP before joining Atlantic Station as assistant general manager from 2006 to 2013. He went on to advance his career at Jamestown, Oliver McMillan, and, most recently, Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Florida, before making his return to Atlantic Station under Trademark's management. "It's an honor to return to this incredible community," McIntosh said. "We are committed to making this a seamless transition and will build on the strong foundation already in place." In the coming weeks, McIntosh will meet with tenants and the surrounding neighborhoods, and Trademark will launch a community engagement survey to gather feedback.
