Requirements
  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), M.Ed., Ed.M. Higher Education Administration, Leadership, Organizational Development, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Arabic language proficiency.
  • At least 12 years of experience in executive education or enterprise partnerships, including senior leadership experience with complex stakeholders.
  • Experience in sales lead generation, business development, proposal development, and negotiations, with a proven track record securing and executing contracts, agreements, and Memoranda of Understanding.
  • Experience leading a team or directly supervising staff.
  • Experience managing resources, including budgets.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, particularly Emirati nationals.
  • Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with short deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of the executive education market.

Responsibilities
  • Direct all key account management and business development initiatives in the Office of Executive Education.
  • Identify and develop future markets, produce business and financial models, establish new partnerships in the United Arab Emirates, Gulf Cooperation Council, and Middle East and North Africa region, and lead a high-performing key account management and business development team.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for the Office of Executive Education by liaising with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients.
  • Drive the expansion and impact of the executive education portfolio by overseeing relationships with government entities, corporate leaders, and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop the enterprise client and partnership strategy in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, Gulf Cooperation Council, India, and the Middle East and North Africa region.
  • Execute the executive education strategy in collaboration with institutional leadership.
  • Use market research and industry partnerships to increase the executive education footprint and meet revenue goals.
  • Serve as the primary external ambassador for the Office of Executive Education.
  • Cultivate and manage sovereign, ministry, and corporate relationships.
  • Drive multi-year framework agreements and renewal pipelines.
  • Develop account growth plans that include upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.
  • Lead consultative discussions with potential and existing partners to develop custom programs tailored to workforce demands.
  • Use research and data analytics to identify emerging trends and opportunities to meet client needs in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and beyond.
  • Expand the university's global presence by forming strategic alliances and partnerships beyond the region.
  • Develop and oversee revenue-generating agreements, business models, and financially sustainable program offerings with the Chief Operating Officer and Vice Provost.
  • Collaborate with faculty, program design, proposal specialist, and delivery teams to meet client needs and establish benchmarks tracking client satisfaction, renewal rates, and net revenue retention.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Admissions and Registration, Faculty and Academic Affairs, and Senior Program Managers.
  • Prepare program design proposals, develop and execute agreements, and manage overall business relationships with Office of Executive Education contacts.
  • Identify emerging workforce-development trends to maintain the Office of Executive Education's leadership in the field.
  • Mentor and develop the Key Account Management and Business Development team.
  • Contribute to university-wide leadership initiatives and training programs that support an equitable and inclusive work environment.
