Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree, in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Graduating December 2024, or later
  • Ability to obtain work authorization and commit to a 12-week internship in summer 2024 (May-August, or June-September)
  • Fundamental understanding of one or more of the following: operating systems, software development, cybersecurity, systems engineering, or network engineering
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java/Python/Shell/C/etc
  • Linux or Unix experience
  • Understanding of computing, operation, function
  • Understanding of network communications OSI
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Familiarity with security vulnerabilities and risk assessment. (MITRE/AT&CK)
  • Personal or academic projects focused in the security domain
  • An analytical mind for problem solving, abstract thought, and offensive security tactics
  • Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral communication). Must work well in a team setting
Responsibilities
  • Deploy and/or configure proprietary and commercial software products support cryptography, production host security, authentication, authorization, MFA other security verticals
  • Assess security risks and impact of issues impacting ServiceNow and designing and implementing solutions designed to address shortcomings
  • Work with stakeholders to provide triage and remediation recommendations
