Responsibilities
Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants and young children while maintaining daily schedules and routines.
Assist with feeding, diapering, hygiene, and other daily care needs.
Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
Develop and encourage age-appropriate learning, creativity, and social development.
Introduce children to art, music, sensory activities, outdoor play, and other educational experiences.
Observe children's developmental progress and communicate with parents and leadership.
Monitor children for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns while maintaining a safe learning environment.
Prepare children for the next stage of development and school readiness.
Partner with parents to support educational and behavioral goals.
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards.
Support fellow teachers and assist with additional duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
Previous experience as a childcare teacher, preschool teacher, daycare teacher, nanny, educational assistant, paraprofessional, or in an early childhood education setting is preferred.

Schedule:
• Part time • Monday through Friday • 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM (6:30 PM during peak season)
Education and/or Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required • Previous experience as a childcare teacher, preschool teacher, daycare teacher, nanny, educational assistant, paraprofessional, or in an early childhood education setting preferred • Candidates pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education are encouraged to apply
Compensation:
• $16.00 to $18.00 per hour DOE • Higher starting wages available for qualified candidates with required certifications and relevant experience
