  • Experience working in the developer tools ecosystem
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for analyzing user behavior, tracking key metrics, and optimizing conversion funnels using tools like Grafana, BigQuery, and Fullstory
  • The ability to translate technical requirements effectively for both engineering and non-technical teams
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to improve user journeys
  • Solid product management skills: roadmap creation, executing cross-functional projects, and iterating on experiments
  • A resourceful, problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations
  • A self-starter attitude, capable of taking ownership and balancing independent work with seeking support when needed
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working with teams like design, engineering, and marketing to scale onboarding initiatives
  • The ability to turn complex product features into clear, actionable onboarding steps and manage projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
  • Comfort using GitHub to manage projects, collaborate with engineers, and track progress
Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the onboarding strategy to help users get setup and understand the value of Grafana Cloud
  • Design and run A/B tests to identify friction points and improve the onboarding flow
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and data teams to ensure seamless execution of experiments and accurate tracking of key onboarding metrics
  • Set and track KPIs, such as time-to-value, engagement rates, and conversion rates, to measure the success of onboarding initiatives
  • Continuously analyze user behavior and test results to refine and enhance the onboarding process
  • Extend the onboarding journey beyond initial setup, driving deeper user engagement and long-term retention
  • Partner with the Growth Manager to align in-product communications and onboarding emails with the overall strategy
  • Work cross-functionally to align goals and execute onboarding experiments at scale, ensuring alignment with Growth, UX, and Engineering teams
