Requirements
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027
  • Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
  • Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as CATIA, Solidworks, Unigraphics, or similar.
  • Experience with mechanical design
  • Experience working in a team environment and ability to effectively communicate within the team.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize a variety of activities or tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to work on-site in Fremont, CA
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the US for the duration of Internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
  • Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college
  • Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
  • Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
Responsibilities
  • As part of the Propulsion organization, you will act as a design engineer for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
  • You will take part in design, risk reduction manufacture, and test of our Wisk Gen 6 propeller.
  • You will help support problem solving activities related to design for manufacture, analysis; as well as functional test and flight test.
  • You will work with a team of engineers that are executing design development and test of the Gen 6 propeller systems.
