Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required for the Junior, Journeyman, and Senior levels.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • A Secret security clearance is required.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • Ability to sit, stand, talk, and hear while performing the job responsibilities.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement user interfaces for the WDP System's web applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to translate requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Guide the development of user-facing components.
  • Conduct user research to create personas and journey maps.
  • Design information architecture and navigation flows.
  • Develop interactive prototypes to validate concepts.
  • Establish and maintain design systems and component libraries.
  • Implement responsive designs for various devices.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback.
  • Document design specifications for development teams.
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends.
  • Contribute to design guidelines for consistency across applications.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the development process.
