Responsibilities
Lead an electrical crew on commercial construction sites.
Plan, lay out, install, and wire electrical components according to project drawings, specifications, and applicable electrical codes.
Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supplies, delivery, and personnel.
Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
Recruit, hire, train, manage, and mentor employees and contractors.
Provide adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
Emphasize the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, hard hats, and procedures.
Manage project budgets and quality standards for all sites.
Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
Report project status regularly to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials.
Desired Qualifications
Six to ten years of electrical field leadership experience is preferred.
Ten or more years of electrical experience is preferred.
Experience leading crews of 10 to 20 people is preferred.
Experience with projects up to $1,000,000 is preferred.
Proficiency with Accubid, McCormick, Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

About the role
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading an electrical crew on commercial construction sites. Their primary role is to ensure planning, laying out, installing, and wiring electrical components are completed, as per project drawings, specifications and in accordance with applicable electrical codes.
