About the job
- Experience and knowledge of cloud-based networks with very high data security requirements.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud services, including application programming interface configurations.
- Experience with programming languages and environments including Python, Linux, C++, and Windows shell.
- Experience with operating systems such as Linux and Android.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, C++, and Perl.
- Experience with system administration, including Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux, patching, server installations, firmware upgrades, and testing between firmware and patch levels.
- Experience with cloud engineering, including media live, automating DynamoDB table updates, troubleshooting within the cloud platform, and providing input on troubleshooting toolsets.
- Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with polygraph.
- Provide technical support to customers’ broadcast systems as a cloud engineer with programming responsibilities.
- Experience with analog and digital communications involving satellite, terrestrial television, AM, and FM radio.
- Experience with video codecs and streaming technologies.
- Experience with video encoding equipment and processes.
- Experience with specialized broadcast systems, including an FM radio system and client television and radio signal devices such as scalable portable remote devices.
- Experience with IP network routing and switching.
- Experience performing installations, configuration, and operations of broadcast equipment.
