Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, communications, English, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Translate complex technical data and concepts into clear, concise, and easily understandable information for various audiences, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals by evaluating, editing, and formatting written content to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to guidelines and requirements.
  • Compile, edit, and format technical documentation, reports, and proposals, ensuring that all materials meet established standards.
  • Review written materials for grammar, consistency, and technical accuracy, making necessary revisions to improve readability and overall quality.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and other teams to gather necessary information and clarify technical content for proposal and documentation development.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in technical writing or editing, preferably within a specialized industry (e.g., engineering, IT, government).
  • Experience assisting with or writing proposals is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, communications, English, or a related field.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and grammar skills, with attention to detail in ensuring the accuracy and quality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage learners.
