Carrot expands AI-native metabolic health program to menopause care

Carrot, a global fertility and family care platform, has expanded its AI-native metabolic health programme Sprints to support menopause care. The programme addresses the metabolic changes during perimenopause through post-menopause, targeting nutrition, movement, sleep and stress. Powered by Carrot Intelligence, the platform uses clinical data and wearable device integration to deliver personalised daily guidance. The service aims to address a significant care gap, as over 80% of women report feeling uninformed about menopause, whilst only 20% of obstetrician-gynaecologists receive formal menopause training. The programme targets both symptom management and underlying metabolic health changes. Nearly 80% of individuals report menopause makes work challenging, with one in five considering leaving the workforce due to symptoms. Sprints is now available to Carrot's plan sponsors and members globally.

Carrot expands fertility care access to 35M Americans in rural areas through OB/GYN network

Carrot, a global fertility and family care platform, has expanded its provider network to include board-certified OB/GYNs for early-stage fertility care, becoming the first plan-sponsored fertility benefit in the US to formally cover care in OB/GYN offices. The programme addresses a critical access gap: over 35 million Americans live in counties without a fertility specialist. The expansion is powered by Carrot Intelligence, an AI platform that securely connects clinical data between OB/GYNs, fertility specialists and care teams, ensuring continuity throughout a member's journey. OB/GYNs can now provide initial evaluations, diagnostic workups and monitoring, with seamless transitions to specialists when needed. The initiative particularly benefits members in rural areas, those beginning their fertility journey, and the 89% of Carrot members who prefer less invasive options before IVF.

Carrot partners with Origin to bring pelvic floor therapy to employer benefits, saving $3,000 per patient annually

Carrot, a global fertility and family care platform, has partnered with Origin to deliver integrated pelvic floor therapy to its members. The collaboration provides access to virtual and in-person pelvic floor therapy alongside digital programs, addressing an underdiagnosed area of reproductive and women's health. Pelvic floor dysfunction affects millions but remains undertreated due to high costs, limited provider availability and fragmented care pathways. Origin reports the partnership reduces costs by over $3,000 per patient annually whilst improving outcomes across fertility, maternity and long-term health. Carrot data shows 85% of its members report pelvic floor health symptoms. The programme includes clinically guided support, provider navigation and financial coverage for eligible expenses, integrating pelvic floor care into employer benefits alongside Carrot's existing reproductive health services.

Carrot launches AI platform built on $1B in fertility claims data across 195 countries

Carrot, a fertility and family care platform, has launched Carrot Intelligence, a proprietary AI platform built on the world's largest dataset in the category, spanning 195 countries. The system uses data from millions of members and over $1 billion in processed claims to deliver contextual care decisions and earlier clinical interventions. The platform powers recent product developments including Sprints, a metabolic health programme to reduce high-risk pregnancies, and a Global Price Monitoring System that detects billing anomalies and fraud. Carrot Intelligence enables earlier intervention, context-driven care delivery, and automated fraud detection at scale. The system is guided by clinicians and does not train foundation models on protected health information. Future capabilities will include care navigation, treatment pathway optimisation and predictive analytics for plan sponsors.

Carrot launches AI system to detect fertility care fraud using $1B pricing dataset

Carrot, a global fertility and family-building platform, has launched an AI-powered Global Price Monitoring System designed to detect billing fraud and abuse in fertility care worldwide. The system analyses nearly $1 billion in claims data across more than 50 currencies to establish dynamic pricing benchmarks. The system addresses growing concerns in the fertility market, where the global surrogacy sector alone is projected to reach $201.8 billion by 2034. Claims are automatically evaluated against real-time pricing norms, with unusual patterns flagged for specialist investigation before employers absorb costs. The technology aims to catch billing errors, price inflation and unjustified service fees across fertility treatments, surrogacy, adoption and related services. This marks Carrot's second AI capability, following its recent metabolic-fertility programme launch.
