Quantifind builds software that banks and government agencies use to screen customers, investigate financial crime and assess risks in vendors or business partners. Its Graphyte platform uses machine learning to connect names with relevant records, then ranks evidence from news, watchlists and company data for review. Analysts search through a web application, generate investigation reports and access the same intelligence through APIs and links to existing case-management systems. The company sells Graphyte as cloud software for compliance and investigation teams, with tools for individual queries and large batches of names. Founded in 2009, Quantifind is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.

Quantifind establishes Asia-Pacific headquarters in Sydney as regional demand accelerates. Qing Liu appointed General Manager, Asia Pacific, as the company expands investment and customer support across the region. Quantifind has announced the opening of its first Asia-Pacific office in Sydney and the appointment of a dedicated regional leadership team, led by Qing Liu as General Manager, Asia Pacific. The expansion follows growing customer demand across Asia-Pacific. Establishing a permanent presence in Sydney will enable Quantifind to deepen its support for financial institutions across Australia, while using the market as a platform for broader Asia-Pacific growth. The Sydney office is a key milestone in the international expansion announced following Quantifind's $200 million growth investment led by Summit Partners, with participation from Citi Ventures, S&P Global, Deloitte, and Stephens Group. That investment identified Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas as strategic priorities. Growing demand for modern financial crime intelligence Financial institutions across Asia-Pacific are modernising financial crime operations as regulators increase scrutiny of sanctions evasion, scams and mule networks, cross-border payments, customer due diligence, and complex ownership structures. At the same time, institutions face a growing operational challenge. The volume and complexity of risk signals is increasing faster than compliance teams can investigate them. Legacy rules and keyword-based approaches generate large volumes of false positives, creating unnecessary customer friction while consuming investigative capacity that could be focused on genuine risk. Regional leadership Quantifind has appointed Qing Liu as General Manager, Asia Pacific. Qing brings deep domain expertise across anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF), know your customer (KYC), sanctions screening, third-party risk management, and Australian regulatory frameworks. She spent over twelve years at Moody's, most recently as Asia-Pacific Head of Solution Specialists and Industry Practice Leads, and was named Compliance Leader of the Year at the 2024 Women in Banking and Finance Awards. The company has also appointed Stephen Ngo as Head of Solution Delivery, responsible for implementation and technical delivery across the region, and Elizabeth Luu as Senior Customer Success Manager, supporting institutions across Australia and Asia-Pacific. Qing Liu, General Manager, APAC, Quantifind said, "Financial crime teams are not short of alerts. They are short of time, and they increasingly need to defend every decision they make. The opportunity for AI is not simply to automate existing processes, but to dramatically improve the precision of the intelligence behind those decisions. With a team on the ground, we can combine Quantifind's global technology with the regulatory, market, and customer context that is specific to Asia-Pacific." Proven at enterprise scale Quantifind serves six of the world's ten largest Tier 1 financial institutions and supports tens of thousands of financial crime, compliance, and national security professionals globally. Customers have achieved significant improvements in investigative efficiency and reductions in false positives. An independent Celent economic analysis found that a Tier 1 bank deploying Graphyte across KYC and sanctions screening could reduce annual alert-processing costs by as much as $177.9 million.
FinScan and Quantifind unite to sharpen AML risk view. September 8, 2026 FinScan, an Innovative Systems solution and provider of AML and sanctions compliance technology, and Quantifind, a provider of AI-powered financial crime and national security risk intelligence, have formed a strategic partnership designed to help compliance teams identify financial crime risks before they appear on formal watchlists. The partnership integrates Quantifind's AI-driven adverse media intelligence into FinScan's existing sanctions, politically exposed person (PEP) and watchlist screening workflows. The integration gives compliance teams a unified view of screening activity, while FinScan's precision matching and data quality tools are designed to filter duplicate and low-value alerts and connect relevant adverse media findings to a customer's overall risk profile. At the centre of the integration is Quantifind's Graphyte platform, which continuously scans global news and other public sources for emerging financial crime risks. Built on purpose-built language models, AI-driven entity resolution and dynamic risk typologies, Graphyte processes multilingual content while keeping client data within an organisation's own jurisdiction. The combined platforms allow institutions to continuously monitor customers, suppliers and counterparties against global news and investigate confirmed risks within the same workflow used for sanctions and watchlist checks. The offering is aimed at banks, insurers, payment providers, FinTechs and other regulated firms seeking to strengthen AML controls, reduce investigative workloads and accelerate risk decisions. The partnership comes as regulators increasingly focus on whether AML controls are effective rather than simply whether they exist. FATF's fifth round of mutual evaluations places greater emphasis on measurable outcomes, while the Wolfsberg Group continues to advocate a risk-based approach. Adverse media is an important part of this challenge, as individuals linked to money laundering, human trafficking and corruption may never appear on a formal sanctions list. Innovative Systems' FinScan provides AML compliance technology for hundreds of organisations, covering KYC, sanctions screening, risk scoring and data quality. Quantifind provides AI-powered risk intelligence through its Graphyte platform, combining internal, third-party and open-source data to help organisations identify financial crime risks. FinScan chief operating officer Deborah Overdeput said, "Regulators increasingly expect AML programs to demonstrate effectiveness, not simply the existence of controls. Adverse media has become one of the hardest areas to get right because the volume is enormous and much of it is noise. Compliance teams can spend countless hours reviewing alerts while still missing the customer who was never on a watchlist. Graphyte helps identify what matters, while FinScan provides the data quality, precision matching, and workflow to turn those insights into action." Quantifind COO Graham Bailey added, "Modern compliance programs need adverse media intelligence that is accurate, explainable, and fast enough to support confident decision-making. Graphyte was built to resolve entities and assess risk across vast volumes of public data with the transparency regulated organizations require. Partnering with FinScan enables compliance teams to incorporate that intelligence directly into their existing screening workflows, helping analysts make faster, more informed decisions." The partnership reflects a broader shift towards continuous and intelligence-led AML monitoring, as regulated firms seek to identify risks beyond traditional watchlists and strengthen how they assess customers and counterparties. FinScan and Quantifind partner on adverse media screening. FinScan has partnered with Quantifind to integrate AI-powered adverse media intelligence into anti-money laundering (AML) screening workflows. FinScan has partnered with Quantifind to integrate AI-powered adverse media intelligence into anti-money laundering (AML) screening workflows. The integration embeds Quantifind's adverse media screening capabilities directly into FinScan's existing sanctions, politically exposed person (PEP), and watchlist screening processes, giving compliance teams a single view of screening activity across these categories. FinScan's alert suppression technology is designed to reduce duplicate and low-value alerts, while linking adverse media findings to a customer's overall risk profile. According to the companies, this is intended to reduce the volume of alerts compliance teams must review manually while improving the reliability of the resulting risk decisions. Graphyte, Quantifind's platform, analyses global news and other public sources on an ongoing basis to identify financial crime risk signals before an entity appears on a formal watchlist or sanctions list. The platform uses purpose-built language models, entity resolution technology, and risk typologies to process multilingual content, and is designed to keep customer data within an organisation's own jurisdiction. Combined, the two systems allow institutions to continuously monitor customers, suppliers, and counterparties against global news sources, with confirmed risks investigated and resolved within the same workflow used for sanctions and PEP screening. The companies describe the target market for the joint solution as banks, insurers, payment providers, fintechs, and other regulated entities seeking to strengthen AML compliance and reduce investigative workload. The partnership follows a shift in how regulators assess AML programmes. The Financial Action Task Force's (FATF) fifth round of mutual evaluations places greater emphasis on measurable programme effectiveness rather than the presence of controls alone, while the Wolfsberg Group continues to promote risk-based approaches to compliance. In addition, adverse media screening has become a focal point in this context, as institutions can face exposure to money laundering, human trafficking, and corruption risks connected to individuals or entities that have not been formally sanctioned or listed. Deborah Overdeput, Chief Operating Officer, FinScan, said adverse media has become difficult for compliance teams to manage given the volume of data involved, much of which does not constitute genuine risk, and that the partnership is intended to help teams identify relevant signals while providing the data quality and workflow tools to act on them. Furthermore, Graham Bailey, COO of Quantifind, said the integration allows compliance teams to incorporate adverse media intelligence into workflows they already use, supporting faster analysis grounded in transparent, explainable risk assessment... Quantifind announces $200 million growth investment led by Summit Partners to advance AI-native Risk Intelligence and governed Agentic Middleware for modern risk operations. Published Jun 26, 2026, 09:00 PM PALO ALTO, Calif., June 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Quantifind, the leader in AI-native Risk Intelligence for modern financial crime and national security operations, today announced a $200 million growth investment led by Summit Partners, with participation from existing investors Citi Ventures, S&P Global, Deloitte, and Stephens Group. As financial crime networks become more sophisticated and operate at increasing speed and scale, financial institutions and government agencies face growing challenges in detecting illicit activity across massive volumes of data while meeting increasingly complex regulatory expectations. Legacy AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and investigative systems can generate excessive false positives, creating operational bottlenecks that slow investigations, create friction for good actors, and divert resources from higher-risk threats. Quantifind's Graphyte(TM) AI-native Risk Intelligence platform is designed to transform financial crime prevention by combining internal and external data with purpose-built language models that power an agentic middleware for entity resolution and risk discovery. Today, Quantifind serves a global customer base, including six of the world's top 10 Tier 1 financial institutions. Its platform supports tens of thousands of financial crime, compliance and national security professionals. Operationalizing Graphyte's Trusted Risk Intelligence for External Agents As financial institutions and government agencies deploy agentic AI, they face a new challenge: turning AI agents from assistants into trusted operators within risk workflows - a leap that no AI agents can make without trusted intelligence, enterprise controls, and governance. Graphyte Agentic Middleware represents a new generation of agentic AI systems for financial crime detection and response. Designed to help AI agents execute complex workflows across risk operations, it is a critical orchestration layer that helps agents to ground decisions in accurate, explainable, and auditable data. By aggregating internal, third-party, and open-source data and applying AI entity resolution and relationship intelligence, Graphyte Agentic Middleware enables AI agents to accelerate investigations, uncover hidden networks, and support high-confidence decisions at enterprise scale, all while preserving regulatory compliance, governance, and human oversight. "Modern financial crime operations require accuracy, speed, scale, and explainability simultaneously - there is no acceptable tradeoff among them in regulated environments," said Ari Tuchman, CEO and co-founder of Quantifind. "As AI transforms risk operations, success will depend on governed AI systems grounded in trusted intelligence and human oversight. Quantifind continues to be the trusted choice for these AI risk applications." Accelerating Global Growth and Customer Impact Quantifind has generated rapid, profitable growth and has demonstrated an ability to deliver measurable operational and economic impact at enterprise scale. An independent Celent economic analysis estimated that Tier 1 banks deploying Quantifind's Graphyte(TM) AI-native Risk Intelligence platform across KYC and sanctions screening alone could reduce annual alert-processing costs by up to $177.9 million, driven by substantially lower false positives and higher-confidence risk decisions. This growth investment will accelerate Quantifind's international expansion across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas, strengthening regional partnerships, advancing regulatory alignment, and extending localized risk intelligence capabilities to help multinational financial institutions and government agencies combat increasingly sophisticated financial crime and adapt to evolving global regulatory requirements. "Quantifind has established itself as a leader in AI-native Risk Intelligence, a category rapidly becoming fundamental for financial institutions and government agencies," said Chris Dean, Managing Director at Summit Partners, who has joined the Quantifind Board of Directors. "The Quantifind platform is designed to combine high-precision intelligence, explainability, and enterprise-grade scalability to help financial institutions, fintechs, and marketplaces detect and prevent financial crime with precision and speed. We are excited to partner with Ari and the team as they work to extend their global reach and continue advancing trusted AI infrastructure for regulated risk environments." "The financial crime landscape has fundamentally changed. Global institutions face an unprecedented challenge: managing increasingly sophisticated threats across expanding volumes of data, transactions and interconnected entities. Quantifind has built a differentiated AI-native risk intelligence platform designed to bring greater accuracy, speed and scale to these mission-critical operations. We are excited to continue supporting the company as it accelerates its global growth and category leadership," said Vibhor Rastogi, Managing Director at Citi Ventures.
