MediaRadar Expands Sports Intelligence to reveal Total Event Investment(TM) across advertising and sponsorship.

MediaRadar Expands Sports Intelligence to reveal Total Event Investment(TM) across advertising and sponsorship. PR Newswire Today at 4:30am PDT Sports Intelligence in Insights Studio connects TV broadcast, exclusive live streaming sports advertising and sponsorship insights to provide a more complete view of how brands invest across sports. NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - MediaRadar today announced Total Event Investment(TM), a proprietary framework that reveals the broader picture of brand investment around major events and cultural moments. Purposefully built for the sports economy, Total Event Investment brings previously fragmented advertising and sponsorship insights together in Insights Studio, the company's newly introduced intelligence platform. Sports investment extends far beyond the traditional media buy. Brands advertise across TV broadcast and exclusive live streaming sports while simultaneously investing in teams, leagues, athletes and major sporting events through broadcast integrations, virtual placements, in-venue signage, equipment sponsorships and creative campaigns. "What's especially exciting in sports right now is the innovation happening around how brands can participate," said Jay Nielsen, VP of Product at MediaRadar. "New formats, integrations and sponsorship opportunities are creating more ways for advertisers to show up. Total Event Investment brings those signals together to reveal the broader strategy behind how brands are investing across sports." Beyond the Media Buy Total Event Investment grew from MediaRadar's research surrounding the 2026 Men's World Cup, where 6,737 brands invested $1.42 billion across advertising, official sponsorships, athlete and national team partnerships and creative campaigns. That work helped shape MediaRadar's expansion into sponsorship analytics, complementing its existing TV broadcast and exclusive live streaming sports advertising coverage. MediaRadar customers can now explore sponsorship signals alongside MediaRadar's Creative, Competitive, Commercial and Market Intelligence to understand how advertising, sponsorship and creative work together as part of a broader brand strategy. Computer Vision Expands Sponsorship Intelligence MediaRadar's proprietary Logo Recognition technology uses computer vision to identify brand logos and on-screen placements, transforming visual brand exposure into structured sponsorship intelligence. Logo Recognition builds on MediaRadar's proprietary Classification Engine, which uses machine learning to organize and enrich advertising data at scale. Together, these capabilities expand the signals MediaRadar can identify, structure and connect through Total Event Investment. From Media Occurrence to Brand Commitment While developed through a sports lens, Total Event Investment can extend to other cultural moments, from a championship game or awards show to a month-long tournament or season. The framework examines how brands show up before, during and after that moment across media investment, sponsorship, creative strategy, activation timing and cross-channel presence, moving beyond individual media occurrences to understand the broader brand commitment surrounding an event. Understanding the Full Partnership "When MediaRadar first released Live Streaming Sports in 2025, adding the coverage to our intelligence stack was a no-brainer," said Brett Joss, Head of Sponsorship Sales at Jomboy Media. "While baseball is core to our business, we need visibility into brands investing across other marquee sports. Total Event Investment gives us a more complete picture in one place, helping us move from understanding the market to acting on it." For brands and agencies, Sports Intelligence provides a way to benchmark competitors, understand multi-sport investment strategies and see how sponsorship connects to paid advertising and creative. For media companies, leagues, teams and rights holders, it provides visibility into brands investing across sports to help identify whitespace and commercial opportunities. MediaRadar expands partnership with VideoAmp, adds TV ratings data.

MediaRadar expands partnership with VideoAmp, adds TV ratings data. [email protected] July 29, 2026 Key points. * MediaRadar has expanded its partnership with VideoAmp to add television ratings data to its ad intelligence platform. * The integration combines MediaRadar's television advertising occurrence and spending data with VideoAmp's national and local audience ratings. * Clients will gain access to spot-level commercial viewership data, allowing analysis of individual ads instead of relying only on average program ratings. MediaRadar has expanded its partnership with VideoAmp, adding television ratings data to its advertising intelligence platform as marketers and agencies seek more detailed ways to evaluate campaign performance. The integration announced Wednesday will combine MediaRadar's TV ad occurrence and spending data with VideoAmp's national and local audience ratings. The companies said the arrangement will give clients a clearer view of advertising value, audience reach and competitive performance across television campaigns. The new capability is designed to provide spot-level commercial viewership data, allowing advertisers and agencies to analyze individual ads rather than relying only on average program ratings. By bringing VideoAmp's audience data into MediaRadar's platform, clients can compare advertising activity and audience delivery across campaigns, networks and markets. The companies said the approach creates a more consistent framework for competitive analytics and media planning. "The future of advertising depends on greater connectivity across data and measurement environments," MediaRadar Chief Executive Officer Matt Krepsik said in a statement. "By deepening our partnership with VideoAmp, we're giving clients more choice and transparency in how they analyze advertising performance, audience reach and competitive activity across today's evolving TV ecosystem." The agreement comes as advertisers, programmers and agencies continue to evaluate alternative measurement providers alongside Nielsen, which has long served as the dominant ratings currency for television advertising. VideoAmp has positioned itself as one of several companies seeking a larger role in the television measurement market by offering data products that connect viewing behavior with advertising exposure and outcomes. MediaRadar said the integration will help clients understand not only where advertisements ran and how much competitors spent, but also how those placements performed with audiences. That could be particularly useful for brands comparing the relative value of television inventory across national and local buys. "MediaRadar is one of the most widely used intelligence resources in advertising, it's the platform the industry turns to when it needs to understand what's happening in-market," VideoAmp Chief Revenue Officer Bryan Goski said. "Being selected as a foundational data source for their TV measurement capability is an honor."
