Requirements
  • At least 2 years of overall Accounting or Finance experience.
  • At least 6 months of recent experience using Deltek Costpoint 7 or later.
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to produce indirect rate variance invoices as required.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment while multitasking and staying organized.
  • Ability to think technically and maintain attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly invoices according to company guidelines and contract requirements, using financial reports to ensure overall invoice compliance.
  • Analyze unbilled receivables monthly against standard Costpoint reports.
  • Research and resolve internal and external customer inquiries concerning billing status.
  • Communicate with external and internal customers to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with collection efforts and resolve collection issues.
  • Work closely with the Project Accounting team, Program Managers, Project Financial Controllers, and Contract Managers to ensure invoice accuracy and completeness.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience using the Deltek Costpoint billing module.
  • Experience using VLOOKUP and PivotTable functions in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience resolving unbilled receivables.
  • Experience using Cognos for reporting.
  • Knowledge of project accounting, setup, and revenue recognition.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to process a high volume of invoices monthly.
