Senior Mechanical Engineer
About the job
- A Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation, is required.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is required.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems is required.
- Experience with finite element analysis and other simulation tools is required.
- A proven track record of leading projects from concept to production is required.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
- Design and develop mechanical systems for artificial-intelligence robots.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate designs.
- Create engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing.
- Work closely with vendors to design and develop various modules.
- Perform prototype fabrication, testing, and validation to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Experience with robotics, mechatronics, or automation.
- Familiarity with actuators, sensors, and control systems.
- Experience with rapid prototyping techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in robotics.
