Requirements
  • An active Certified Nursing Assistant license to work in Washington State.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid CPR certificate is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Answer the nurse call system to determine resident needs.
  • Assist residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care, and incontinence care.
  • Obtain food trays and assist residents with eating.
  • Assist residents with range-of-motion exercises and movement to and from wheelchairs or activity areas.
  • Assist residents with turning and positioning in bed.
  • Assist residents with ambulation as indicated in the facility.
  • Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
  • Document activities of daily living, resident personal care, and device use on flow sheets or task sheets as directed.
  • Attend interdisciplinary meetings as needed to provide input into selected residents’ plans of care.
  • Document restorative services provided following facility policies and procedures.
  • Assist facility staff in providing person-centered care based on indicated preferences.
  • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
