Requirements
- A university degree, vocational training, or equivalent professional experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related area.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing management, and supplier management in industrial, service, or project-based environments.
- Experience issuing and following up on purchase orders and coordinating supply activities.
- Knowledge of material planning, inventory management, and Material Requirements Planning processes in SAP S/4HANA.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate-high or advanced English proficiency suitable for communication and interaction with European suppliers.
- Ability to establish collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
Responsibilities
- Plan material and spare-parts requirements to ensure availability and optimize inventory levels.
- Analyze demand, stock coverage, and planning parameters to ensure efficient procurement.
- Execute and oversee Material Requirements Planning processes in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring correct configuration and material planning.
- Identify supply risks and implement preventive or corrective actions to minimize operational impact.
- Manage the complete purchasing cycle, including requisitions, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with national and international suppliers to ensure agreed service levels are met.
- Track open orders and evaluate supplier performance in terms of service, quality, and cost.
- Collaborate with internal areas and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
- Use SAP S/4HANA for material planning, purchasing management, and inventory control.
- Maintain master data, planning parameters, and records related to procurement.
- Analyze performance indicators and prepare reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Supply Chain policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support activities related to transportation, receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Collaborate in managing logistics and transportation costs and in validating and tracking associated invoices.
- Coordinate the resolution of supply, transportation, and inventory issues.
- Work closely with Operations, Logistics, Finance, Service, and other departments to ensure correct execution of Supply Chain processes.
