Requirements
  • A master's degree in a technical discipline is required, although an additional 10 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
  • At least 15 years of experience managing technical projects, including at least one year of program management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to present recommendations and provide training.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight of the service delivery teams and ensure that they fulfill all contractual requirements specified in the Performance Work Statement and that all services delivered meet quality standards.
  • Ensure all contractually required deliverables are prepared and undergo quality assurance reviews before timely submission.
  • Develop the master integrated plan combining the individual project plans that service delivery teams execute, communicate and obtain customer agreement on the plans, and ensure delivery teams have the staff and resources needed for execution.
  • Coordinate with the corporate Program Management Office to ensure delivery teams use standard processes, forms, and templates; complete internal support requests and top-level contract deliverables; track and forecast Task Order finances; and provide corporate progress and status reports.
  • Manage all direct labor costs associated with the contract and ensure incurred costs remain within budget.
  • Ensure resources assigned to the contract have the technical abilities to perform their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure program-related deliverables, including reports, design documents, and Standard Operating Procedures, are prepared ahead of contractually specified due dates to allow time for quality review before customer delivery.
  • Communicate directly with the customer to ensure satisfaction with service quality, inform corporate leadership of dissatisfaction, and assist in developing actionable plans to resolve current issues and mitigate future ones.
  • Prepare reports and deliver status and progress review presentations to corporate leadership.
  • Develop the communications plan and manage its execution for the Task Order to ensure information is disseminated appropriately.
  • Identify internal and external risks and enter risks and mitigations into the customer's and 9th Way Insignia's risk and issue tracking systems.
  • Coach and mentor junior subordinate Project Managers in performing their duties and help them develop individual career development goals and plans.
  • Ensure succession plans are in place for key personnel on the delivery team and identify cross-training opportunities to prevent critical roles or capabilities from being dependent on a single individual contributor.
