- One year of experience as a Monitor Technician.
- Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
- Provide ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and remote telemetry.
- Provide registered nurses and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.
- CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI.
