Requirements

A valid Tennessee nursing license is required.
Current CPR certification is required.
The candidate must be a new graduate within the first year of orientation.

Responsibilities

Complete nursing histories and initiate patient education.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
Implement plans of care appropriate to patient diagnoses.
Problem-solve and coordinate unit and patient care assignments under supervision.
Introduce new employees and students to unit routines.
Participate on a unit-based committee or serve as a council representative.
Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Complete required education assignments annually.
Work toward achieving goals and objectives and participate in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Position Summary:

Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
