Requirements
  • At least 7.5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure.
  • Fifteen years of full-time education.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, monitoring, observability, logging, alerting, security, compliance, containerization, orchestration, Linux, Bash scripting, networking, incident response, and SRE principles.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code principles and DevOps skills.
  • Develop predictive automation using monitoring and observability tools.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, or ArgoCD.
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Deploy and monitor applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Set up automated monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Datadog.
  • Enhance system reliability, security, and scalability through automation and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and DevOps strategy discussions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on uptime and performance.
  • Implement security best practices and assist with compliance standards.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development workflows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Pulumi and Crossplane for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack for configuration management.
  • Experience with Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus for monitoring and observability.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including EC2, Lambda, VPC, load balancers, Route 53, DNS, VPNs, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with Docker or Podman.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or OpenShift.
  • Basic Windows Server knowledge.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience with IAM, Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, SSH, encryption, or vulnerability scanning.
  • Experience with PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Slack integrations, ELK, Fluentd, or Splunk for incident response and centralized log management.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with serverless architectures, GitOps, AIOps, observability automation, or Service Level Indicators/Objectives.

Accenture shares down 27%, but 11.5% yield available through put options at 35% discount

Accenture trades 37% below its 52-week high after falling 27% over the past year. In fiscal Q3 2026, new bookings declined and some managed services deals slipped into fiscal 2027. The company generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, with operating margins widening to 17% in Q3. Managed services revenue grew 5% in local currency. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, clients made 104 quarterly bookings exceeding $100 million, up 13% year-on-year. Consulting revenue grew just 1% in local currency in Q3. Management attributes the slowdown to the Middle East conflict affecting regional and discretionary spending. The CEO acknowledged that client budgets have not been growing, with spending simply being redirected rather than increased.

Accenture appoints Emma Chalwin as chief marketing officer

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 October 2026. She will oversee global marketing and communications, reporting to Chair and CEO Julie Sweet. Chalwin joins from Workday, where she served as CMO. Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion
