Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management or equivalent technical experience
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience in SQL, Tableau (or other data visualization tool), Excel, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience launching consumer mobile app products and expanding the consumer base are highly preferred
  • Experience in consumer research and insights, both qualitative and quantitative preferred
  • Experience designing or working with API products is preferred
  • Experience building consumer software preferred
  • Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment preferred
  • Computer Science degree or Engineering background preferred
  • Previous involvement in privacy and/or consumer brands a plus
Responsibilities
  • Lead the product vision, strategy, and evolution of Startpage
  • Manage the day-to-day technical and design direction with a privacy-first and user-focused mindset
  • Work closely with engineering teams to design, build, launch, test, and optimize the Startpage search engine and product suite
  • Develop and launch the Startpage consumer mobile app integrated with the backend and data systems
  • Deliver outstanding local search, maps, and navigation for Startpage users
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for spam bot detection solutions
  • Engage with internal and external technical stakeholders for intricate integrations
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and traffic quality teams
