Requirements
  • A Juris Doctor or Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field.
  • Strong communication and instructional skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive excellence and student success.
  • Successful completion of a background check and employment verification, along with other role-related requirements such as motor vehicle and/or drug screening.
Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in forensic and legal psychology.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in person, in hybrid format, or online as assigned.
  • Develop syllabi and course materials aligned with departmental standards.
  • Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain regular communication with students and department leadership.
  • Be available for at least one additional office hour per week for each course taught to advise students concerning their coursework.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior college-level teaching experience.
  • Experience with learning management systems and online teaching platforms.
  • Experience working with diverse and first-generation student populations.
  • A doctorate is preferred for graduate-level instruction.
