Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Entry-level experience is required.
  • Ability to perform electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic work.
  • Ability to crimp and pin connectors, build wire harnesses and cable assemblies, and complete sub-assembly builds to precise customer specifications.
  • Ability to understand metric and standard units of measure, describe basic electrical circuits, and understand specification tolerances.
  • Ability to use schematics, drawings, and work instructions to follow and understand procedures.
  • Ability to learn and use manufacturing tools including sockets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, voltmeters, drills, heat guns, and crimp tools.
  • Ability to ensure quality workmanship and maintain professional behavior.
  • Ability to work in multiple environments focused on sub-assemblies and tool assembly.
Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly work, including sub-assembly builds, harness and cable construction, component installation, and tube cutting, flaring, and installation.
  • Use manufacturing tools and documentation to complete assembly procedures.
  • Support a team atmosphere while adhering to company practices and guidelines.
  • Develop the skills necessary for promotion to Assembly Technician Level 2.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervision.
