Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is required.
A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Five to eight years of experience in the design and management of municipal water and wastewater projects is required.
Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office applications is required.
Ability to manage multiple large or complex projects simultaneously is required.
Experience leading and developing project teams is required.
Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, and budget control, is required.
Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Vision or Microsoft Project is required.
Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach are required.

Responsibilities

Manage water and wastewater infrastructure and process design projects for municipal and private sector clients.
Lead project teams in preparing construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Oversee hydraulic modeling and system analysis using tools such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWorks WS, or InfoWater.
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders, including water and sewer authorities.
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance feedback to project staff.
Use project tracking tools to monitor progress, resources, and financial performance.
Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater (Innovyze) is preferred.
Experience working in the southeastern United States is preferred.
