  • Remove sutures or staples after provider examination and an appropriate written order, and document the activities in the patient's electronic medical record or other required venue.

  • Under onsite provider supervision, insert intravenous catheters for physician-initiated IV fluid therapy or medication administration; under direct onsite physician supervision, insert, remove, and monitor urinary catheters for procedures and prepare and administer oral drugs and intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injections; perform phlebotomy as applicable.
