FIGS is seeking an ECommerce Associate to join our International team. As a key member of our team, you will be supporting the execution of our digital strategies, including involvement in our analysis, growth, and decision-making across 30+ international countries, a rapidly growing area of the FIGS business. Reporting into the ECommerce Manager of International, you will be part of a very fast-paced and exciting organization that is recognized for its innovative product, fresh branding, and unique value proposition. This role will focus on ECommerce, while gaining exposure across all aspects of the business including: strategy, marketing, product performance, market research, customer behavior, and business development initiatives.
This role will partner cross-functionally with internal teams, aligning with domestic site merchandising counterparts and collaborating with marketing, brand, creative, digital product, and data teams, while working with our external partner relationships including our SEO agency and translations agency. The focus of this role is to enhance the international customer experience through optimized and localized site experience, driving increased engagement and conversion. An ideal candidate is someone seeking exposure to international business practices and high-growth expansion, and who is highly organized, possesses strong attention to detail, and has the ability to execute complex site uploads while thinking strategically across business functions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with ECommerce Manager on website strategies across the International markets
- Execute localization campaigns to optimize digital experience on Site through Site Merchandising, Site Content, On Site Search tactics in order to maximize conversion
- Collaborate with Domestic counterparts to ensure alignment with overall company strategy while localizing where appropriate
- Work with externals agencies to promote growth across International business
- Support ECommerce Manager with data analysis to develop reporting, conduct site health analysis, and ideate optimizations
- Partner with International Marketing and Retention Teams to optimize consumer journeys across channels and regions
- Support ECommerce manager on SEO enhancements
- Execute asset uploads and Site setup for International promotions and exclusive digital initiatives
- Brief International site asset needs to Brand and Creative teams in support of strategic initiatives
- Align with International content calendar to clearly identify points of differentiation from Global strategy due to localized needs
- Research and propose local opportunities through competitive research to develop actional market insights
What You Have:
- 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce or business role
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to be resourceful while balancing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
- Ability to make data driven decisions and leverage data to understand customer behavior and develop a plan of action
- Knowledge of the customer journey and the role that marketing channels play to impact site experience
- Clear, concise communication skills across written, verbal and presentation formats
- An entrepreneurial mindset: Enthusiastic about building a business through innovative thinking and a natural curiosity within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in global e-commerce practices a plus
- Experience in Shopify and Contentful is highly desirable but not required
- Experience in site analytics tools (Google Analytics, Heap, Looker) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Business, Marketing or similar field is a plus
- Ability to distill information, findings, and results into executive summary is a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus!
FIGS Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range
- At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role’s base salary range is between $52,500 and $75,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
