About the job

Requirements
  • Owned commercial outcomes, including managing renewals, negotiating, handling objections, and personally de-risking a contraction.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to build trust with engineers and discuss APIs, debugging, and latency; ability to scope issues and recognize when to bring in an engineer.
  • Ability to run meetings with customer engineers and leadership, control the narrative, and move tense conversations forward.
  • Resourcefulness and self-direction, including having built onboarding and systems where they did not previously exist.
  • 4–6 years of experience in customer success, account management, solutions, or technical support at a developer tools, data/analytics, or AI-native software company.
Responsibilities
  • Own customers' post-sales journey from onboarding through adoption, renewal, and expansion.
  • Track usage trends across a book of 40–50 mid-market and startup accounts to identify expansion and churn signals.
  • Define events and actions that indicate account health, expansion, or risk, and turn them into reusable reporting and playbooks.
  • Answer customer questions and work through API issues, including keys, JSON output, and logs, far enough to scope problems and escalate them to support and document engineering teams.
  • Run weekly-to-biweekly check-ins with technical stakeholders at approximately 20 actively focused accounts each quarter; learn their business models and product roadmaps and anticipate upcoming needs.
  • Drive renewals, orchestrate expansions, and de-risk contractions across 40–50 accounts, including commercial conversations to right-size contracts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ideally, 1–2 years of experience at a growth-stage startup.

Extend launches Verify API detecting 96.3% of document fraud, including AI-generated forgeries

Extend today launched Verify, an API that detects document fraud, at Money20/20 USA in Las Vegas. The tool lets developers and AI agents check whether a document is genuine before acting on it. AI has made forgeries that human reviewers cannot see easy to produce. A fake bank statement, invoice, or receipt that slips through can cost a business millions of dollars. Verify examines visual content, file structure, and revision history. It flags AI-generated documents, localised AI tampering, conventional digital edits, and changes made after signing. It returns risk scores, explanations, and traceable evidence. In a benchmark test, Verify detected 96.3% of fraudulent documents at a 4.0% false-positive rate. It is available now, on its own or inside existing Extend pipelines.

Extend launches Operator-1 agent, hitting 99.88% accuracy on document extraction benchmark

Extend, a New York document AI company, has launched Operator-1, an autonomous agent for extracting data from complex documents. It combines document tools with persistent memory in a dedicated workspace, so it can extract data, check its work, and reuse methods that succeeded. Extend says Operator-1 set records on three benchmarks: 99.3% on LongArray-Extract, 99.88% on LongExtractionBench, and 96.57% on ExtractBench. Third parties published two of the three. The agent can write and run code, search across thousands of pages, and zoom into document images. It retries when a check fails. Operator-1 is available now in the Extend dashboard and API on all plans, at 5 credits per page. New users get 10,000 free credits.

Extend's Light Parse achieves 90.5% accuracy at sub-cent document processing cost

Extend, a document processing platform for developers, has released performance results for its Light Parse engine on two open-source benchmarks. Light Parse achieved 90.5% field-level accuracy on RealDoc-Bench and 54.9% question-answering accuracy on Databricks OfficeQA Pro, whilst costing $0.00625 per page. The engine is designed for text-heavy, high-volume documents such as reports and contracts. Both benchmarks test whether AI systems can answer questions correctly using parsed document output. Extend reports Light Parse placed first among non-agentic parsers on both benchmarks. The company says customers in sectors including legal AI have halved their OCR spending after switching to its solution. Developers can select between Light Parse and the company's Performance Parse engine via API or Extend Studio.
