Requirements
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing program and have completed at least one clinical rotation, or have previous certified nursing aide or nursing attendant experience, or certification through an approved, accredited certified nursing aide training program.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide selected patient-care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
  • Measure and record patients' temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressure.
  • Ensure the delivery of meals and safe patient transport.
  • Monitor patients' blood pressure and temperature.
  • Partner with nurses and ICU technicians to support bedside care and keep the care environment running smoothly.
