  • Manage student behavior in the classroom to facilitate learning.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's rules and disciplinary systems.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development as required by laws and school policies.
  • Communicate consistently and in a timely manner with parents about their child's academic and behavioral attitudes and achievements.
  • Maintain the safety and security of students in the classroom and common school areas.
  • Supervise students at school functions such as field trips, overnight trips, and school assemblies.
  • Attend parent-teacher conferences, back-to-school nights, and faculty meetings.
  • Supervise lunch and recess.
  • Stay up to date on current educational trends and research to continually improve teaching practice.
  • Facilitate office hours.
  • Document lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum in Atlas.
  • Post materials, assignments, and grades to the school's ehillel learning management system in a timely manner.
