Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in operational technology/information technology and communications systems cybersecurity or critical infrastructure security roles.
  • Minimum 7 years of consulting experience delivering operational technology security programs to Fortune/Global 1000 or critical infrastructure clients.
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience, including managing, mentoring, and developing consultants and senior consultants.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading operational technology security assessments, program design, or managed security implementations across multiple industry verticals.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience engaging with C-suite and vice president-level client stakeholders on operational technology risk, compliance, and program strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 12 years of work experience; an associate degree requires a minimum of 6 years of work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with operational technology regulatory frameworks, including NERC CIP, IEC 62443, TSA SD-02D, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, DOE C2M2, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-workstream operational technology security engagements across critical infrastructure clients, owning delivery quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Develop and execute operational technology security program strategies for clients, including multi-year roadmaps, governance structures, cyber security operations center build-outs, and technology investment plans.
  • Serve as a trusted senior advisor to client chief information security officers, vice president-level leaders, and operational stakeholders on operational technology risk strategy, regulatory compliance, and program maturity.
  • Drive client growth through relationship development, add-on scoping, and proactive identification of security capability gaps.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of consultants and managers by providing technical guidance, career development, and quality assurance across deliverables.
  • Serve as a senior subject-matter expert on competitive operational technology security pursuits by shaping win strategy, contributing to requests for proposals and oral presentation preparation, and lending technical credibility to proposals across the practice pipeline.
  • Lead or co-lead operational technology security business development efforts, including opportunity qualification, client presentations, and proposal strategy.
  • Represent Accenture's operational technology security capabilities externally through speaking engagements, industry forums, and client workshops.
  • Contribute to Accenture's operational technology security practice development by building reusable assets, methods, accelerators, and partnerships with operational technology technology vendors.
  • Manage engagement economics, including staffing, forecasting, margin, and risk escalation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development activities, including shaping opportunities, developing win strategies, and leading client pitches.
  • Experience structuring and managing large-scale operational technology security programs involving $2 million or more engagements with multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Deep familiarity with the operational technology security vendor ecosystem, including Dragos, RunZero, NetRise, Claroty, Nozomi, Armis, and Verve, and the ability to position Accenture's alliance investments commercially.
  • Experience building or operating operational technology-centric cyber security operations centers and integrating operational technology network security monitoring platforms with enterprise security information and event management systems and security operations center workflows.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK for Industrial Control Systems, threat intelligence frameworks, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures targeting critical infrastructure.
  • Relevant certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, or GRID.
  • Existing relationships with utility, energy, or critical infrastructure security leaders.
  • Experience contributing to operational technology security thought leadership through publications, conference presentations, or regulatory comment processes.
  • Master's degree in cybersecurity, engineering, business, or a related field.

Accenture shares down 27%, but 11.5% yield available through put options at 35% discount

Accenture trades 37% below its 52-week high after falling 27% over the past year. In fiscal Q3 2026, new bookings declined and some managed services deals slipped into fiscal 2027. The company generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, with operating margins widening to 17% in Q3. Managed services revenue grew 5% in local currency. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, clients made 104 quarterly bookings exceeding $100 million, up 13% year-on-year. Consulting revenue grew just 1% in local currency in Q3. Management attributes the slowdown to the Middle East conflict affecting regional and discretionary spending. The CEO acknowledged that client budgets have not been growing, with spending simply being redirected rather than increased.

Accenture appoints Emma Chalwin as chief marketing officer

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 October 2026. She will oversee global marketing and communications, reporting to Chair and CEO Julie Sweet. Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue.
