ECOMMERCE SALES BUSINESS ANALYST – REMOTE USA
eCommerce Sales Business Analyst
The eCommerce SalBusiness Analyst will support the business through actionable reporting of data, analytics, and insights to support key sales objectives and drive profitable decision-making. This position will serve as a category expert within specified areas of the home improvement industry, working closely with ecommerce customers in providing analytical data, recommendations and support as it relates to inventory replenishment, forecasting, point of sale analysis and advertising impact. The successful candidate will leverage strong relationships across many functions such as Sales, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Supply Chain in order to facilitate understanding and optimization of our Ecommerce business.
What You Will Do:
Ownership of overall demand forecast process that will contribute and add value to the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process
Build and closely manage relationships with customers at the buyer and analyst level to enhance the partnership
Detailed weekly analysis of replenishment orders to maximize inventory turns, fill rate and service level both internally and externally through better forecasting and communication
Create and analyze weekly and monthly business reporting for key stakeholders which includes category and sku trend analysis, sku level forecast accuracy, fill rate, compliance adherence, point of sale performance, demand planning/forecasting creation, margin, return on advertising investment, etc.
Identify trends in data, draw conclusions, outline key risks and opportunities, and make actionable recommendations to key stakeholders within the organization.
Execute product transitions minimizing customer impact via effective replenishment program management
Assist in accounting processes and chargeback resolution – Order to Cash
Analyze operational, inventory and consumer demand data to provide actionable KPI s to gain efficiencies, minimize non-compliance issues and improve key metrics
Identify and lead implementation of internal best practices cross functionality that create a better customer experience within assigned account
Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders
Understand the importance of practicing discretion and working with confidential information
Key Interfaces: Inventory Analyst, Demand Planner, Finance, Manufacturing Operations, Distribution Operations, Channel Marketing, Buyer, Merchant, etc.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, marketing, data analytics, or related field with two or more years of analyst experience or applicable significant internships or work experience in lieu of two years analyst experience
Advanced Excel knowledge and skills
Familiar with forecasting tools and working with sales and operations to develop forecasts as well as addressing variances and root cause resolution.
Experience in extracting data from multiple sources to create/discern actionable insights.
Must possess the ability to apply principals of logical thinking to solve a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Must be prepared to function within a fast paced, customer focused organization that is committed to cooperation, collaboration, and interdependence among diversified businesses and functions.
Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy critical to building stakeholder credibility
Ability to multi-task and be organized to manage multiple deadlines from multiple people on a daily basis
Ability to travel 20%
