Requirements
  • The candidate must be a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

  • The candidate must maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Responsibilities
  • Review high-risk failure modes and their detection and prevention controls to ensure proper risk reduction for customers.
  • Develop shared loading and capacity overviews for equipment and tooling based on historical production and future-state projections, and provide recommendations on area consolidation, capital expenditures, and staffing.
  • Conduct time studies and process reviews to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, cycle times, and operator requirements.
  • Create, review, and update work instructions to support training and consistent operations.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to process and quality issues.
  • Support continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations.

  • Familiarity with data analysis or computer-aided design software.
