Requirements
- Two to seven years of experience.
- Experience with a large mainframe Sysplex environment.
- Experience with DB2 upgrades.
- Experience with DB2 tools for performance monitoring, performance tuning, SQL analysis, and data sharing.
- Experience with mainframe utilities and Job Control Language (JCL).
- A B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MBA, or M.E. qualification.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve production and development incidents.
- Liaise with application development teams regarding DB2 utility usage, DB2 tool usage, DB2 application revision analysis, DB2 change control, DB2 problem resolution, DB2 table, plan, and utility revisions, SQL tuning, backup and restore, and data sharing.
- Support disaster recovery incidents and tests.
