Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop, prepare, and coordinate documentation for financial analysis projects, including budgets, forecasts, projections, expense performance, and presentations.
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide analytical evaluation for forward-looking financial or business-related projects.
  • Devise financial forecasting and reconcile accounts.
  • Review reports and ensure that financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Compare results with plans and forecasts and make recommendations for adjustments.
  • Train and oversee junior staff members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the final work product.
  • Assist in the development and organization of department and project budgets.
  • Design and build models that summarize scenarios involving growth and expansion initiatives or opportunities.
  • Develop performance and productivity dashboards, models, and analyses.
  • Determine profitability and pricing for product offerings and develop performance indicators to analyze business segments and new product lines.
  • Conduct research on strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison to other departments, vendors, and external parties to complete assignments.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
  • Perform fiscal year-end close activities for assigned accounts and departments.
  • Prepare journal entries, payroll accounting adjustments, and related financial transactions as needed.
  • Assist department leadership with ad hoc reporting, financial analyses, and special projects.
  • Manage provider performance reports, productivity scorecards, and operational analytics.
  • Perform audits and prepare reports related to medical charges, collections, payments, reimbursement trends, and year-over-year performance analyses.
  • Extract and analyze Epic data for provider case logs, Current Procedural Terminology coding analysis, billing reviews, and operational reporting.
  • Perform reconciliations and audits related to medication orders, billing activity, and charge capture processes.
  • Support departmental leadership with additional financial, operational, and analytical tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with university, departmental, and healthcare regulatory policies and procedures while safeguarding institutional assets.
